Painted Rock Trail Crosswalk
MCF fully funded construction of a new crosswalk at the intersection of Rheem Boulevard and Chalda Way, providing safe pedestrian access to on-street parking and the popular Painted Rock trailhead.
The Foundation delivered $55,000 to the Town of Moraga in May 2025, followed by a final $25,000 installment in August 2025 — including a Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors grant from the Livable Communities Trust Fund — completing MCF’s $80,000 commitment. The crosswalk was completed August 27, 2025.
